WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling the children's playground slide known as the Slalom Glider.
The CPSC says there's not a platform at the top and some children have fallen off when moving from the ladder to the slide. More than a dozen kids have been hurt, some breaking arms and legs.
The slides were sold nationwide to schools and other facilities between January 2006 and December 2011.
The CPSC, in cooperation with manufacturer Landscape Structures Inc., of Delano, Minnesota, announced the recall on Thursday.
