MADISON (WKOW) -- Authorities say a man accused of threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend has been arrested.
Madison police found Jose Antonio Medina Mendoza hiding in a closet at a home on Madison's south side Thursday evening. The 27-year-old man is accused of ramming his SUV into his ex-girlfriend's car as she was driving earlier this month.
The woman told police that after the crash, Mendoza stayed in his car and followed her home. When she got there, he threatened to kill her and threw rocks at the windows of her car, while she was still inside. Mendoza then drove away.
The woman was not hurt.
