MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Memorial swam its way to a 12th state title in boys swimming at the UW Natatorium on Saturday, defending its crown for a second straight year.
Memorial senior Ben Anderson also defended his title in the 50-yard freestyle. He not only won the event, but he also beat his time from last year at 21.13 seconds to take home the gold.
In the longest event, the 500-yard freestyle, Madison West's Andrew Lindstrom raced to a fourth place finish at 4:42.99.
But Memorial stole the show once more, winning the 400-yard freestyle relay at 3:06.11, beating their own state record by more than one second.
