MADISON (WKOW) -- Another large union has endorsed former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk for Democratic candidate for governor.
The Wisconsin chapter of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) announced the endorsement Monday.
"AFSCME Wisconsin's decision was clear, with Kathleen Falk emerging as the strongest leader to reverse Gov. Scott Walker's reign of deceit and job-killing extremism," said the union in a statement.
"This election is coming soon and I'm so proud to have working men and women around the state standing alongside me in this fight," Falk said about the endorsement.
The state's largest teachers union, WEAC, endorsed Falk two weeks ago.
Sen. Kathleen Vinehout (D-Alma) is Falk's only challenger for the Democratic nomination so far.
