TEHRAN (WKOW)--Oil prices jumped Monday, after Iran said it would cut off exports to British and French oil companies.
And that could mean we'll be paying even more for gas soon.
According to the American Automobile Association, Monday's national average for regular unleaded fuel is at $3.56 per gallon. That's up a nickle from last week and experts say a gallon of gas is expected to cost at least four dollars by April.
However, average retail gasoline prices in Madison have fallen 7.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.35 per gallon on Sunday, according to gasoline price website MadisonGasPrices.com.
Including the change in gas prices in Madison during the past week, prices Sunday were 19.3 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 0.5 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
