MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- A Milwaukee County supervisor is headed to trial for allegedly taking a bribe.
Johnny Thomas is accused of taking a $500 bribe in exchange for promoting a company on a county contract. The bribe was part of an undercover sting operation.
Thomas is a first-term supervisor. He was running for Milwaukee city comptroller but suspended that campaign.
The criminal complaint says Thomas admitted he took the money, but planned to return it.
A pretrial conference is set for March 15.
