MADISON (WKOW) -- The state Assembly has passed a resolution naming December 12, 2012 for Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Assembly passed the "Aaron Rodgers Day" resolution unanimously on Tuesday and sent it on to the state Senate.

Rodgers, who wears No. 12, led the Packers to a Super Bowl victory last year and helped them to a 15-2 record this past season.

MADISON (WKOW) -- Wisconsin could have a day named after Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The state Assembly is scheduled to consider a bipartisan proposal designating December 12, 2012, as Aaron Rodgers Day on Tuesday.

Rodgers, who wears No. 12, helped the Packers to a 15-2 record this past season, and to a Super Bowl victory last year. The New York Giants defeated Green Bay in the playoffs this past season and went on to win the Super Bowl.
