MADISON (WKOW) – University of Wisconsin-Madison police say quick actions by an officer and paramedics saved a student's life at the Kohl Center on Saturday.
University police say after receiving a report of a student having a medical issue, an officer assigned to the student section was able to quickly locate that individual. The student went into cardiac arrest and the officer began chest compressions. When paramedics from the Madison Fire Department arrived on scene, they used a defibrillator to revive the patient.
Police say quick actions and prompt response from officers and paramedics saved the student's life.
