VIENNA (WKOW) -- The Department of Transportation is inviting anyone interested to take a look at how a new bridge over I-39 will look.
The construction will be on the County I bridge in the Town of Vienna, near DeForest. It will start in May of 2013.
DOT Project Manager Bill Strobel says this 51-year-old bridge has reached the end of its life.
Some of the improvements include building a future bike and sidewalk path. There will also be wider lanes for drivers to feel safer.
The meeting to hear more on the project will be on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Town of Vienna Hall. That's located at 7161 County I.
