MADISON (WKOW) -- Empowering women and eliminating racism is the goal and the mission of the YWCA. This year, the YWCA Madison has seen many advancements and forward moves including the addition of a new CEO, Rachel Krinsky.
Wednesday, Krinsky joined the Wake Up Wisconsin team to talk about the issues that women in our community face, how to combat them, and most importantly what you can expect at this year's YWCA Circle of Women event on Thursday February 23rd at the Alliant Energy Center, at 11:30am.
This year, several outstanding women in our community will be honored for their hard work and commitment to beating all the odds they've faced in life. If you're interested in attending the event, tickets and still available and the money from the event goes back to the YWCA.
