Scientists say clouds have been getting lower and closer to the Earth over the last decade.
Researchers say it could have a big effect on global climate change. They say the low clouds could help cool the Earth and offset some of the warming caused by greenhouse gases.
NASA's Terra spacecraft collected the information used for the study published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters.
