MADISON (WKOW) -- Following the announcement that another candidate has entered the GOP race for U.S. Senate, Mark Neumann's campaign manager, Chip Englander, released the following statement Thursday:
"We welcome Eric Hovde to the race. But 25 years living in Washington, DC and his support for stimulus spending including high speed rail won't sell in a year when everyone except Barack Obama and his most liberal allies are scared to death of huge government spending. Mark Neumann's 25 years in business in Wisconsin and his plan to balance the budget in five years are what conservatives are looking for."
