MADISON (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin Government Accountability Board voted Monday to allow a recall election against Republican state Sen. Pam Galloway (R-Wausau).
The GAB agreed with staff analysis that more than enough valid signatures were submitted to schedule a recall election against Galloway.
GAB officials determined that at least 18,511 signatures against Galloway were valid, far more than the 15,647 needed.
The board rejected broad arguments made by all four senators challenging thousands of signatures. The GAB also agreed Monday that recalls should be ordered for Senate Majority
Leader Scott Fitzgerald, and Sens. Van Wanggaard (R-Racine) and Terry
Moulton (R-Chippewa Falls).
