South Carolina man arrested for Town of Dunn burglary
MADISON (WKOW) -- Dane County authorities say a man from South Carolina was arrested Tuesday night after breaking into a town of Dunn home.
Officials say around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, a Dane County Sheriff's deputy was called to Sunnyside Street after a home alarm went off. Upon arrival, the deputy saw a man in dark clothing walking away from the house.
Authorities say the deputy chased 22-year-old Roosevelt Price into a marshy area, where he was taken into custody.
Officials say Price was taken to the Dane County Jail and booked on charges of burglary, criminal damage to property and obstruction.
After inspecting the home, officials say Price forced his way into the house through a patio door, and then tore the home alarm off the wall before leaving the house.
