MADISON (WKOW) -- The state Department of Justice has appealed two rulings to block the state's voter ID law.
Dane County Judge David Flanagan ruled Thursday against a Justice Department request to lift his temporary injunction.
Flanagan granted the temporary block of the voter ID law last week. The ruling stops the photo ID requirement until the case heads to trial in mid-April.
The Justice Department has also appealed a permanent injunction filed by a judge in a different voter ID lawsuit.
