Romney, Gingrich add delegates in Georgia tally

WASHINGTON (WKOW) – All four GOP candidates added delegates from contests that happened days ago as they head into Sunday's presidential primary in Puerto Rico.

Mitt Romney added six delegates and Newt Gingrich added five from Georgia's March 6 primary. 

Last week in Hawaii, Ron Paul added two delegates and Rick Santorum added one.

The Georgia GOP said the final tally is Gingrich with 52 delegates, Romney with 21 and Santorum with three.

The Hawaii GOP said the final tally is Romney with nine delegates, Santorum with five and Paul with three.

The overall race for delegates is led by Romney with 501, Santorum with 253, Gingrich with 136 and Paul with 50. 

It takes 1,144 delegates to win the nomination and there are 20 delegates up for grabs in Puerto Rico.
