MONTICELLO (WKOW) -- Green County officials have released the name of the 58-year-old woman who was killed in a crash Thursday afternoon.
The Green County Sheriff's Office says Sally Mitchell, of Browntown, died in a crash on Highway 69 north of Monticello.
Officials say a truck traveling north crossed the center line and ran nearly head-on to Mitchell's vehicle.
The truck driver, 65-year-old Gary Davis, of rural Juda, was taken to UW Hospital in Madison with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.

It happened just after 2 p.m. on Highway 69, about half-mile north of Monticello.
Authorities say a northbound truck crossed the center line and ran nearly head-on into another vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle, a woman from rural Browntown, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name hasn't been released.

Investigators say both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. They say there is no indication that alcohol was a contributing factor.
