MADISON (WKOW) -- Three Mega Millions lottery tickets sold in Wisconsin are each worth $250,000.
The Wisconsin Lottery says they were sold in Eau Claire, Richfield and Walworth. The state also sold 13 tickets worth $10,000 each.
Wisconsin sold $9.3 million worth of Mega Millions tickets before the drawing. More than $6 million in tickets were sold on Friday.
The $640 million Mega Millions jackpot tickets were sold in Illinois, Kansas and Maryland.
Americans spent close to $1.5 billion on lottery tickets for a chance to hit the main jackpot. It amounts to a $462 million lump sum and about $347 million after federal taxes are taken out.
