WASHINGTON (WKOW) – President Barack Obama said he is confident the U.S. Supreme Court will uphold the health care law approved during his administration.
Obama insisted the law is constitutional.
He said a democratically-elected Congress passed the health care law passed and he doesn't think "unelected" members of the Supreme Court should overturn it.
Obama said the law touches on economic, legal and human concerns, and he hopes "that's not forgotten in the political debate."
Last week, the health care law faced skepticism from conservative justices during three days of oral arguments.
