MADISON (WKOW) -- Old World Wisconsin is looking for volunteers to help during its annual spring cleanup day.
The historical site in Eagle, located about 60 miles southeast of Madison, will hold the event from 7 a.m. until noon on Saturday, April 14. Site officials are looking for individuals and groups to help.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear gloves and bring their own rakes, brooms, clippers and other tools. Lunch will be provided. If it rains on April 14, the following Saturday, April 21 will serve as the rain date.
Old World Wisconsin is made up of more than 65 historic buildings relocated from around the state and represents the material and cultural history of nearly a dozen ethnic groups. It's slated to open for the summer on May 1.
