Madison student hopes to record more booms in Clintonville

MADISON (WKOW) – A Madison College electronics student who recorded one of the mysterious booms in Clintonville -near Green Bay- says he's going back to the city to try to get more.

Brian Sullivan recorded this sound a couple weeks ago using a couple mics and his computer. This time he's going to take a vibration analyzer along with his microphones.

"I spoke to city officials last night and they said that there were a few more calling in, so it's continuing and I'm still anxious to get a better recording," Sullivan said.

The U.S. Geological Society confirmed a 1.5 magnitude earthquake near Clintonville in March. That may be one reason for the sounds. But Sullivan is determined to find out if something else is happening.
