A Janesville man arrested for 4th OWI after hitting deer

ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) – The Rock County Sheriff's Office arrested a Janesville man for his 4th OWI offense after hitting a deer early Saturday morning. 

Authorities said Lyle Muszynski was headed west on Highway 81 near S. Nelson Road when he hit a deer and was thrown from his motorcycle around 2:18 a.m. 

Orfordville EMS requested React Helicopter from Rockford to take Muszynski to Rockford Memorial Hospital for severe head injuries.  Officials said Muszynski was put in the Rockford Memorial's ICU in critical condition.

As a result of the crash, Muszynski was arrested for his 4th OWI offense.  Officials said speed does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
