Americans spend big bucks on Easter candy

MADISON (WKOW) -- Easter is the second biggest candy holiday, behind Halloween.

Americans were expected to spend $2.1 billion dollars on candy this Easter. That's roughly 120 million pounds of candy.

Producers have made 16 billion jelly beans and 90 million chocolate Easter bunnies for the holiday.
