Wisconsin's largest public employee union, AFSCME, now says it used "poor judgement" when it directed its members to an internet video that attacks Democratic candidate for governor, Tom Barrett.
The video incorrectly implied Barrett supported Governor Scott Walker's changes to Wisconsin's collective bargaining law.
As recently as Thrusday, AFSCME told 27 News it stood by its decision to release the video.
Barrett is one of four Democratic candidates vying to run against Governor Walker in a June 5 recall election.
AFSCME has endorsed another candidate, former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk.
State Senator Kathleen Vinehout (D-Alma) and Wisconsin Secretary of State Dough La Follette are also running.
