MADISON (WKOW) -- Jordan Wendt, a 16-year-old with kidney disease, got the opportunity of a lifetime Monday, with the help of the Make A Wish foundation.
Wendt wants to start a lawn care business and give back to the community by helping senior citizens care for their lawns.
Engelhart GreenSmith helped facilitate the wish and presented Wendt with a new riding mower and other lawn-care tools.
Manager Joe Fobes, who worked to help make the wish come true, said he is impressed with Wendt.
"I think that it's very noble on his part, [the wish] is not the typical trip to Disney or Jamaica ... giving back to the community, it's what really drive me to want to be a part of it," Fobes said.
Wendt is on the waiting list for a kidney transplant.
