LOS ANGELES (WKOW) -- 27 News headed to Los Angeles to get a look at the set of "Dancing with the Stars."
The set was newly built for last season. From design, to completion, it took about nine months to put all of it together. It's three stories high and has a huge staircase for the dancers to make their grand entrance. The audience sits very close to all the action, as do the judges, and it seats hundreds more. Designers have added about 400 seats, so now about 800 people can watch the show live.
"We've received really great feedback and everybody seems to really like it," said production designer James Yarnell. "We've received great feedback online. So I'm really proud of it.
