MADISON (WKOW) -- A Beloit man has been sentenced to six years in federal prison for his role in a conspiracy to distribute heroin in Beloit in 2010.
A jury found 37-year-old Maurice Lockhart guilty in January. Witnesses testified that during the summer of 2010 Maurice Vaughn supplied 50-80 bags of heroin each day to Lockhart and Carlos Ford, who then distributed them in the Beloit area.
Ford was sentenced last August to five years in prison. Vaughn was sentenced last March to 20 years in prison.
