ROSHOLT (WKOW)--Scientists are calling a central Wisconsin man's discovery a remarkable piece of history.
Bill Wolosek was digging in his backyard in Rosholt, near Stevens Point, two weeks ago when he found a piece of stone coral.
It dates back more than 200 million years.
A scientist at the natural history museum at UW Stevens Point says the coral was once a piece of the Great Barrier Reef, but it broke off and was carried here by a glacier.
