Group "Running For Rachael" in CrazyLegs Race

MADISON (WKOW) -- The annual CrazyLegs race is April 28, 2012.

Many groups run for a cause, or in memory of someone they love.

One group will be "Running For Rachael," a courageous young woman who's battle with melanoma ended her life at just 26-years-old. The cause is helping her friends and family stand up and take action.

Joining us on Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend Sunday, was Rachael's friend Ashley Erickson and father, Dennis Streich.

They shared how they hope to raise money for the Melanoma Research Foundation, to help find a cure.
