2 Milwaukee police officers injured in head-on crash

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Two Milwaukee police officers were hurt after their squad car crashed head-on with a drunk driving suspect early Sunday.

They were both taken to a hospital but a police captain tells the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel the officers were not severely injured.

Police say the 37-year-old driver swerved into the oncoming lane and hit the officers when they were responding to a call. The 37-year-old driver was also taken to a hospital.
