MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison fire officials say the ban on outdoor fires has been lifted.
According to the City of Madison's website on Monday, the recent rainfall decreases the risk of concern for outdoor burning, so approved outdoor fireplaces and fire pits may now be used.
Fire officials say prairie and/or natural lawn burns, approved permits, may also be conducted.
