MADISON (WKOW) -- Jarrod Uthoff gets his wish. Many of the schools that were blocked by Head Coach Bo Ryan are open for his business. After today's appeal, the only schools Uthoff can't transfer to are in the Big Ten. But the ACC, Marquette and Iowa State are available for the now former Badger.
This has been a story that has taken on a life of its own. The national media jumped all over Bo Ryan when he tried to block Uthoff from up to 26 schools.
They really let him have it on Thursday's Mike and Mike in the morning show on ESPN radio.
Thursday night Bo made himself available to the local media. Bo says his intention was never to prohibit Uthoff from transferring outside the Big Ten. He says he blocked the other schools to get Uthoff to talk.
