
JEFFERSON COUNTY (WKOW) -- The fight to end sexual assault and domestic violence continues, and this Saturday you can join others to "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes." PADA is hosting the annual walk to support sexual assault victims at UW-Whitewater campus on April 21, 2012.
All the proceeds benefit People Against Domestic & Sexual Abuse of Jefferson County. The walk is a fun way to help others understand what victims go through every day. Participate, including men, are asked to literally walk one mile in women's high heeled shoes to raise awareness. So, be sure to bring your favorite pair along!
If you're interested in joining in the walk and the fight to end abuse, the event is at UW-Whitewater, University Center-Summers Auditorium. Registration starts at 10 a.m. The walk begins at 11 a.m. and a ceremony follows.
