Three tips to make your next flight easy - WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and Sports

Travel tips from a flight attendant

MADISON (WKOW) -- We're hitting the time where many of us are dreaming of getting away for a vacation.

To make sure your next trip is easy, flight attendant and website owner Bobby Laurie joined us Saturday morning on Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend.

He gave us three pieces of advice to think about, before your next flight. The first is if you check a bag, make sure to carry extra clothes in your carry-on. If the bag you checked gets lost, you will still have something extra to wear on your trip.

Second is to roll your clothes when you pack. Laurie says this will give you added space in your bag.

Last is to keep an empty water bottle with you at the airport. Laurie says once you clear security, you can fill up the bottle and it keeps you from paying for an expensive drink.

Laurie also mentioned his "Savvy Stews" website and web show. To learn more, click here.
