Report: Saints GM illegally eavesdropped on opponents during games
NEW ORLEANS (WKOW) -- New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis is already suspended for 8 games of the regular season because of his involvement with the Saints' bounty system, but it appears that is just the beginning of his troubles.
According to a report by ESPN's "Outside the Lines," Loomis had an electronic device in his suite re-wired to allow him to listen in on the opposing team's headsets during games.
Both the U.S. district attorney's office and the FBI are investigating what could be both a violation of NFL rules and also a federal crime.
Loomis called the report "1,000 percent false... 1,000 percent inaccurate."
