Automatic bill paying available for Madison utilities

Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) – Madison Municipal Services customers now have the option to pay their bills through automatic bank withdrawals.

The bill includes water service, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, landfill remediation, and public fire protection charges. Right now, bills are issued every six months, but after the Water Utility's Project H2O meter system is upgraded in July, billing will be monthly.

To register for the automatic bank withdrawal service, customers can download the automatic clearing house (ATH) form from the utility website, by clicking here. The signed form can then be returned to the utility by mail or fax.

Madison Water Utility says customers can also go completely paperless and receive bills electronically by registering at the MyWater link under the Water Utility's webpage. All customers who sign up for a MyWater account with paperless e-billing will be automatically entered to win an iPad.
