IOWA CITY, Iowa (WKOW) -- President Barack Obama continued his college tour on Wednesday at the University of Iowa.
He started the day by speaking with five students about their career goals and debt burdens. Some of the undergraduates said they expected to leave school with debt of $20,000, $30,000 or more.
Later, he addressed a crowd of several thousand on campus making his political case about keeping federal loan rates low -- and to lobby for the youth vote in a key swing state.
The University of Iowa was the last top on his two-day college tour.
