SAUK CITY (WKOW) -- Sauk Prairie boys head tennis coach Paul Bishop is back on the tennis courts coaching the Eagles for a 19th season. Bishop's future was in doubt when he suffered an acute aorta annurism in January 2011. Bishop was rushed to the hospital and went into surgery within hours. When he regained consciousness he know he life was turned upside down. Bishop was forced to sit out the entire 2011 season, going through rehab and recovery.
Now in 2012 Bishop is healthy and back on the courts coaching the Eagles. It was a return the coach never doubted. Bishop says getting back to coaching served as motivation through his rehab. Recently Bishop earned his 200th career win, a mark he was able to share with his team. The Eagles are off to a great start to the season as of April 26th, only losing one match on the season.
