Verona girls soccer tops Madison Memorial 2-0

VERONA (WKOW) -- The Madison Memorial girls soccer team entered Thursday night with a 34-game win streak in the Big 8 Conference. The Spartans hadn't lost a conference game since April 24 of 2008, but the streak came to an end as Verona topped Memorial 2-0. After a scoreless first half, Verona's Felicia Retrum and Marissa Mears scored in the second to give the Wildcats the victory. To see highlights click the video link.
