MMSD to report on public input sessions

Posted:
MADISON (WKOW) -

At Monday night's Madison Metropolitan School District board meeting, district leaders will release a summary report after two months of public input sessions on the district's $105 million plan to address its achievement gap.

The feedback could provide clues as to which strategies Superintendent Dan Nerad will pursue when he releases a revised plan on May 11.

The School Board will hear a presentation of the plan at its meeting, at 6:00p.m. Monday.

The meeting is in the auditorium of the Doyle Administration Building, at 545 W. Dayton St.

The board will also hold a special session at 5 p.m. to discuss the search for new superintendent to replace Nerad.

Tonight on 27 News at 6, Jennifer Kliese will have a live report on their timeline for a search, and at 10-- more on the achievement gap plans.
