Verona man gets 3.5 years for drunken driving crash

VERONA (WKOW) -- Chad Spurley was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison Monday.

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, Spurley says he is deeply ashamed of himself for causing the death of Davi Dohm. Dohm was a co-worker. The accident happened April 15, 2011.

The State Journal reports Spurley was driving 89 mph on a road with a 45 mph speed limit. His blood alcohol content was two times over the legal limit.
