Madison police search for robbery suspect

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police are searching for the suspect in a robbery.

Police say the suspect entered L.A. Tan on Maple Grove Drive Monday around 1:34 p.m. wearing a black nylon stocking over his face. The suspect demanded money from a 20-year-old female clerk.

No one was hurt.

The suspect did get away in a newer, blue, compact car with a license plate beginning with 854. He is described at a black male in his 40's, about 6'4" to 6'6" and around 275 to 300 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark windbreaker, light jeans and a black nylon mask.

Anyone with information on this incident should contact Madison police.
