Facebook makes it easier to become an organ donor

NEW YORK (WKOW) – Facebook will let users enroll as organ donors on the website.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg says the feature will be available for U.S. and U.K. users on the social media site.

Facebook users who are already organ donors can add that information to their Facebook Timelines.

Zuckerberg says his friendship with Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs helped inspire the idea.Jobs received a liver transplant before he died last year.
