EAU CLAIRE (WKOW) -- Some unique artwork found its way into a river in western Wisconsin, but it may not be there for long.
A sculpture of the famed Loch Ness Monster is in the Chippewa River in Eau Claire.
The sculpture is made out of concrete and about the size of a canoe.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says the artwork poses a danger and whoever put it in the river needs to remove it.
"If it were partially hidden by higher water, it could punch a hole in the side of a canoe, or you know, cause other problems," said DNR warden Ed Culhane.
The DNR says it will wait a few days and if the sculpture isn't out of the river, wardens will remove it.
