MADISON (WKOW) -- It's a labor of love, one stitch at a time. Su Timmerman, a former Jefferson Award Nominee in Wisconsin, dedicates hours of time to making quilts for our brave men and women in the armed forces. Recently, she hit a milestone with her one thousandth quilt!
Each quilt is a way to say thank you to our service men and women, and they bring a little bit of comfort from home to those serving overseas. On Thursday, Su Timmerman brought some examples on Wake Up Wisconsin and talked about the effort to get to one thousand quilts. As well as, where the project is going from here.
