Lion tries to reach baby through glass at the Oregon Zoo.

PORTLAND, OR (WKOW) -- A lion at the Oregon Zoo in Portland clearly wanted to get at a little boy who was sitting outside the exhibit, but thankfully there was protective glass between the two.

The child barely noticed what was happening, but something about him got the animal's attention.

Zoo workers say lions often interact with young visitors, but the glass barrier keeps them safe.
