MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- You can once again cross Lake Michigan in less than three hours.

The Lake Express ferry out of Milwaukee made its first runs of the year Friday.

This is the ninth season for the high speed ship.

The Lake Express runs between the Port of Milwaukee and Muskegon, MI.

The season runs from now until October.
