MADISON (WKOW) -- The Girl Scouts are celebrating their 100th anniversary.
Saturday and Sunday at the Alliant Energy Center's Willow Island, a special event is taking place.
The event also includes a march to the Capitol and rally on the square.
Joining us Saturday morning on Wake Up Wisconsin was the CEO of Girl Scouts of Wisconsin and Emma Junga, Cadette Girl Scout from Madison.
Emma described how her troop is taking on a project to be community gardeners. They hope to partner with a food pantry to donate everything they grow.
