GOP dominates TV ad sales

MADISON (WKOW) -

Gannett Wisconsin Media looked deeper into the issue of political advertising and found Republicans are winning the battle of the TV airwaves in Wisconsin.

Gannett says it found 78 percent of political TV ad spending this year has been on spots that support GOP candidates and conservative causes.

Gannett found as of April 25, more than $18 million in political ads had been booked in Wisconsin's five-largest television markets.
