Madison police look for suspects in battery

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police are looking for suspects after a 19-year-old Illinois man was knocked unconscious.

It happened shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday on College Court. Witnesses told police a dispute between two groups of men escalated. A friend of the victim told police two people from one of the groups continued to kick the victim after he was down. They ran off at the sound of police sirens.

The victim was hospitalized and told police he didn't remember much about what happened.

Police are looking for two suspects. The first is described as a white man, 20-25 years old, 6'3" to 6'4", 200 to 220 pounds, brown hair, wearing a white tank top with gray stripes and jeans. The second is described as a white man, 20-25 years old, 6'4" to 6'5", 200 to 220 pounds, wearing a black shirt and jeans.
